Roots:

As a Laboratory Operations Technician at Switch, Scott works to support the R&D team and ensure their efforts are efficient and effective. He believes harnessing microbes and microbial fermentation will be at the forefront of achieving sustainability on a crowded planet. Prior to joining Switch, Scott was a key member of the fermentation team at Zero Acre Farms. He also had a former career in the California wine industry where he made critically acclaimed wine at his start up winery, Waxwing Wine Cellars. When it is time to Switch off, Scott enjoys coaching his son's high school XC mountain bike team, cooking, and thinking about coral reefs.
