RUSSELL BROWN

Russell is a Senior Research Associate on the Microbial Discovery Team at Switch Bioworks, the living fertilizer company. At Switch, Russell's research in microbial discovery is focused on screening nature's abundance of microbes and isolating the best product candidates to feed the globe sustainably. Previously Russell worked with Pivot Bio discovering biofertilizer microbes and measuring their impact on health. Outside of work Russell can be found hiking, biking, or kayaking in the hills of the East Bay. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley.
