HSIAO-HAN LIN
SCIENTIST, SYNTHETIC BIOLOGY
Roots:
Hsiao-Han is a scientist specialized in plant-microbe interactions passionate about making agriculture more ecofriendly and sustainable. During her PhD at National Taiwan University, she studied legume-rhizobium symbiosis and phytopathogen physiology using high-throughput screening. As a postdoc at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, she studied how plant cell wall shapes the rhizosphere microbiomes using bioinformatics and fabricated ecosystems. Experienced in studying diverse research projects at the academic-government-industry interface, Hsiao-Han joined Switch Bioworks in 2023 to leverage her skills in plant-microbe interactions to produce sustainable biofertilizer.
