ANDER RUIZ

Ander is finishing his MSc. in Molecular Microbiology at the University of Copenhagen. Fascinated by the impact plant and soil microbiomes have on plant health, he wrote his thesis on the development of biopesticides based on consortia at the Section of Microbiology at the University of Copenhagen. At Switch, Ander will work alongside the microbial discovery team to onboard novel microbes for downstream engineering. 

During his free time, he enjoys cooking and hiking. Ander is still patiently waiting for George R. R. Martin to release The Winds of Winter.
